Growing up in Argentina, our Founder, Wences Casares, saw his family's life savings wiped out three times by events beyond their control. With the advent of Bitcoin, he believed that a future of unprecedented economic freedom was inevitable. Just as the Internet democratized information, Bitcoin would democratize money.
